This birthday was a special day for me. My first birthday in Infosys and that too with cake So my class friends Vaibhav, Varun and Apurva took me to Gazebo (a hang out place where you get eatable items) and we were joined with VN and Karthik followed by other college friends. They gave me the expected birthday bombs and my back was in a situation which I never expected. I was unable to sit in class yesterday The cake was cut at 12:20AM of my first birthday here in Infosys. Then next was the grand finale and that was putting the cake all over my face, hair, shirt and also my new track Then in the evening I gave the treat and it was in Dominos and the bill was once again as expected which I won’t tell

I missed one thing a lot and that was my close friends with whom I used to celebrate my birthday for the past 8 yrs I missed you people a lot I will upload the pictures of the birthday when I come there.

It is time for some action. I finally joined the health club here. If you join this then 300 bucks will be deducted from your salary. With this card you can go to Gym (which I have decided to go everyday), play Snooker and Pool (I want to try this), Swimming (I love it!!!), Yoga class,  Squash (I should buy a bat or rent a bat for some hours) and few other things. I thought of joining last month but thought I won’t get time. Now I have lot of time for these things and so I have decided to use the free time well rather than sit in room and watch TV I desparately need sports shoes to and enjoy the Gym facilities which is awesome here. I want to enjoy each and everything that they provide here before leaving the Mysore campus for posting. I’ll get the membership card today and then it will be a new world for me

Its been a dull week till now for me in class as the module is related to total theory and I hate theory a lot. It is similar to TQM. I can’t say what I am studying. That is why I am telling that it is related to TQM, POM etc. The afternoons are also very boring as there are no assignments to do and we can’t go back to our rooms also. Even if we bunk and go to room it is of no use as there is no power supply in room from 9AM till 5.30PM during weekdays except in the hostel where only individual rooms are there and no sharing is there. I am sharing my room with an Andhra guy who came to infosys two weeks before I came. He is a very good guy and he is from Chemical department. So he is having tough time in this training. Hope he does well in the coming main exam. Tomorrow my module will get over and then there is some extra curricular activity class for the next two days. Hope it won’t be as boring as this one. Fast Track people are suffering as usual. I am feeling a lot for them. I am waiting for the weekend to come. I want to play Badminton. Till now I didn’t get any company for that. Hope to get someone soon to play badminton with.

I started playing Tennis two days back. I have one big problem right now. I don’t have sports shoes with me and that is really very irritating. I am supposed to wear sports shoes while playing Tennis or Badminton or while going for Gym. Since I am crazy about Tennis and Badminton I require sports shoes. I thought that a serve in tennis will be some what tough to put but I experienced how tough it is to put one proper serve because all the serves we hit went on to hit the nets and only by fluke we got a correct serve and that too one proper serve out of 20 and odd serves! On top of this I have another issue. Playing Tennis takes lot of energy and it tires you quickly. I played versus Karthik and we are on a 1-1 set win situation. We have to continue this game some other day

It was time to do some purchasing with my first salary I amd Karthik decided to buy Tennis racquet and went to a shop here in Infosys and bought one for each. Karthik bought the best that was available in the shop and I bought some what ok kinda one because I was planning to buy shuttle racquet also and bought one. So I lost my two days salary in just 30 mins And then I bought tracks for me and shirts for my father and brother as a gift. Now I have to think what to buy for you people I will buy something if I get time and go to city or else will have to buy something in Chennai itself So from next week its going to be Tennis time for me

So I finally saw The Dark Knight and it was brilliant. The music was as I expected (excellent), Heath Ledger the Joker was …. I don’t have words to describe his acting. He was the best for that and he deserves oscar though he is not here. But his role as Joker will live forever. The scenes were really good. But I prefer Batman Begins. I liked the first movie more than this one and I don’t know why. In this movie there were many places were I felt that the movie was not continuous. I felt something strange after intermission when Joker was interrogated about Harvey and Rachel (Not you rowdy ). Though in cartoons Joker does everything in this way only, I felt that it was a bit strange coz it was just after intermission and so felt that it was kinda discontinuos there and few other places.

The scene where the truck goes upside down was like WOW!!! The climax where Batman uses Fox’s help was also amazing and the part which I liked was the one where he introduces his bike (after cars gets damaged) was superb I thought of seeing the moive once agian today but I am very tired. So will see this again with you guys when I come to Chennai.

It was Sehwag once again to the rescue in the test match for our coutry as he passed through to his 5th double hundred in his test career. He is rocking in test matches at present. India lost the first test against Sri Lanka due to their dismal performance and that was one of the biggest victories for the Lankans. The second match is in progress and Sehwag came to the rescue as Indian top order collapsed after the good opening partnership which was 167. Sehwag played his usual game. Then it was Bhajji with the ball as he took 5 wickets out of the 7 that fell till today morning 11 (I was wwatching the match till 11). So lets see whether Indians can bounce back into this series or not.

So its going to be a week full of enjoyment. The coming week has no test for me and the module that is being taken now has no assignments. So I will be free from 12PM everyday till wednesday. The next two days will be extra curricular activities. So that won’t be boring and the guy who is going to handle it is good and makes sure that you don’t sleep Today I am planning to see Batman The Dark Knight with Karthik and V.N. Karthik provided we get the tickets

Batman!!!! The Dark Knight has created sensation around the world. It has lived above its expectations. I was waiting for this movie from last year August and am still waiting Infosys still didn’t screened this movie here in the multiplex. I think I’ll see it in Chennai with my dear friends It has crossed the $300 million in just two weeks after its release!! And if this goes on I think it will become the highest grosser in the hollywood ever. Till now its Titanic which holds the momentum. Heath played the role of Joker and it is the character that has be applauded by audience more than Christian Bale’s Batman role. It seems the joker was amazing in his role. Long live Heath the Joker. IMDB showed that The Dark Knight has received the highest rating ever received by any movie in its database. I think it even surpassed the old and gold God Father. Almost everyone voted Joker as the best character in The Dark Knight. I am sure this will create history and no other movie will be able to break it for decades except some other Batman movie (if possible). I am dying to see this movie!!! Hope to see it soon I wanted to put up a picture from the movie but not in mood to go to Google and search for some image and then put it

So I finally got my first salary with the 7 days salary (June 23 to 30) included in it I am coming to Chennai on 15th morning. So will post about training that time. Till then I will post about general things. I won’t post about my training till then You people have fun till then

At last the wait is over for me. Yippeeee. Batman-The Dark Knight is coming to Infosys Mysore this weekend and there are totally 4 shows for this movie. I am planning to see it minimum twice. If the queue is long then i’ll just pay 50 bucks and get the ticket. I was waiting for this movie for the past three weeks and now its finally here and I can’t miss this opportunity. So its gonna be Batman weekend
